Terms And Condition

1. General

These Rental Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations and rental agreements made with Denel Car Rental (hereinafter referred to as “the Lessor”).

By reserving or renting a vehicle, the renter confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Denel Car Rental reserves the right to refuse any reservation or rental without providing a reason.

2. Vehicles & Pricing

The following vehicles are available for rental:

• Toyota Vitz
  Rental price: €25 per day
  Security deposit: €200

• Toyota Wish
  Rental price: €30 per day
  Security deposit: €200

All prices exclude traffic fines, damages, fuel differences, and any additional costs.

3. Renter Requirements

To rent a vehicle, the renter must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Hold a valid driver’s license

• Provide a valid form of identification

Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal of the rental.

4. Reservation & 15% Deposit

• A 15% deposit of the total rental amount is required to confirm a reservation

• This deposit serves solely as a reservation confirmation

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation within 48 hours after making the reservation:
  → The 15% deposit is fully refunded

• Cancellation after 48 hours:
  → The 15% deposit is non-refundable

• No-show (failure to appear without cancellation):
  → The 15% deposit is fully retained by Denel Car Rental

5. Payment & Security Deposit

• The remaining rental amount must be paid at vehicle pickup

• A security deposit of €200 per vehicle is required before the rental begins

Deposit Refund

The security deposit is refunded immediately upon return of the vehicle, provided that:

• The vehicle is returned on time

• No damage has occurred

• There are no traffic or parking fines

• The fuel level matches the level at pickup

• No additional cleaning is required

Denel Car Rental reserves the right to partially or fully withhold the deposit in the event of:

• Vehicle damage

• Traffic or parking fines

• Late return

• Incorrect fuel level

• Additional cleaning costs

6. Rental Period & Return

• The rental period starts and ends on the agreed date and time

• Extensions are only allowed with prior approval from Denel Car Rental

• Late return without approval may result in at least one additional rental day being charged

7. Fuel Policy

• Vehicles are delivered with a specific fuel level

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level

• Any fuel difference will be deducted from the security deposit

8. Vehicle Use

The vehicle may not be used for:

• Illegal activities

• Reckless driving or racing

• Off-road driving

• Sub-renting or lending to third parties

• Use outside Suriname without prior permission

• Smoking inside the vehicle

All traffic violations and fines are the sole responsibility of the renter.

9. Damage, Breakdown & Accidents

• The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period

• Any damage, breakdown, or accident must be reported immediately

• A police report may be required

Repair costs, loss of use, depreciation, or additional damages may be charged to the renter.

10. Insurance

• Vehicles are insured in accordance with Surinamese law

• Any applicable deductible is the renter’s responsibility

• Damage caused by negligence, reckless driving, or violation of these terms is not covered by insurance

11. Privacy

Personal data is used solely for administrative and legal purposes and will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.

Agreement

By renting a vehicle from Denel Car Rental, the renter confirms that:

• The vehicle was received in good condition

• All rental details are correct

• All Rental Terms & Conditions are accepted
